Re: Mill Creek RFQ, resumes

Quick nudge. Due Friday and I only have 3 of the 5 key staff resumes. Dave, can you send the one with the 2025 projects?

Elm Street Branch Library, Town of Ashford (2022)

Our civic studio has renovated public buildings for municipal owners since 2009, including libraries kept open to the public.

Project manager Dana Ruiz, AIA, led the Elm Street library renovation.

For Mill Creek, the same phasing keeps one floor open to the public, as the City requires.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us

We draft public-bid proposals for engineering and architecture firms, from seven-person studios to proposal teams of 100. Use our app and run it yourself, or hand it to our team over email. We work from your own past proposals, under NDA. Your team finishes the draft, and you're always the one who submits.

Start with your next bid
Is this a software tool?

Only if you want it to be. You can log in to our app and run it yourself, or skip the login and let our team do the work over email. Setup takes an afternoon either way, and drafts arrive in your own template.

Will it sound like us?

Yes. We write from your own past proposals, project sheets and resumes, and every edit you make shapes the next one. We also read public award results and agency scoring to learn what wins. And we never work for two firms on the same RFP.

Who chases our staff and subconsultants?

We do. Resumes, project sheets, sub inputs, addenda: we ask, and keep reminding until it's in. In the app you see every request and can step in yourself. If our team runs it, we write in your name once you've introduced us, and we tell your lead when someone's running late.

How do we know it's right?

Every paragraph links to the file it came from, so you can check any claim in seconds. Each section follows the agency's scoring criteria. We also track every addendum, page limit, form and signature, because one missed item can get a proposal thrown out.

What formats do you deliver?

Word, in your own template. Agency forms like the SF 330 and DOT prequalification. Answers for online portals, cut to their character limits. And InDesign-ready text if you ask for it.

What happens to our files?

The app is also available on-prem, so your files never have to leave the firm. Whichever way you work with us, we use them only for your proposals and delete them whenever you ask.

How is it priced?

Per proposal, within a yearly scope, whether you use the app or our team. To start, we draft three paid proposals. We never take a cut of what you win.

Do you write SOQs for on-call contracts?

Yes. An on-call contract can bring you a city's small jobs for years, so we put as much into the SOQ as into a big bid.

Do we learn anything when we lose?

Yes. We pull the award results from public records, look at what scored, and send you what we find. Some agencies publish more than others, so how much we can tell you varies.
